Test Run!
So for Christmas I received one of the best gifts I've ever gotten, a intuos wacom Tablet! I've never used one before, so using this technology is very foreign to me (especially since i am amazingly computer illiterate). I've been practicing quite a bit with it, especially since i want to use it to create my children's books with it. So to start off with my first official piece on it, I chose to do a art trade that I kinda started back in February with my friend Anna. She had sent out a mass e-mail to all of her art friends saying that she would do an art trade with her friends, she would do a pic of the artist and they would do a drawing of her. so finally i got around to doing it and so without further or due....
TA DA!!!
I hope ya'll like it, their will be more along the way!

NEW BOOK! oh and other stuff...
Hey ya'll,
Sorry I haven't been around for a few months, the lack of internet and a scanner or camera will do that to you, but I'm back half way and man, things have been busy for me, Let's recap, shall we?
since july......
I got a job at home depot working night's.
My girlfriend started her Master's of Education Program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
I have have been working on a Zombie Comic with the awesome Keith Clinansmith, which im still working on, but am dang close to being done with the first issue, if you wanna read the story, you can go to- http://iundeadbook2jawless.blogspot.com
Had my 2 year anniversary with the woman whom i love more than anything (even art, crazy i know?)
Started work on another comic with a good friend of mine, it's all very hush hush, mum's the word at the moment
Was FINALLY hired to work for TSA ( Transportation Security Information) just so i can actually pay for everything while i strive to become an illustrator.
My Girlfriend's Birthday! we chilled, it was nice.
My friend Kim had her BFA Show this semester, it rocked and the Student Art Show up at the U was amazing!! Makes me sad that I'm not a student anymore....
Had Christmas where I revealed My NEW ART BOOK! Yes Folks, I do indeed have a new artbook filled with all the work that I had completed through out my BFA Career, If Interested in purchasing one, their is a link on this very website that can direct you to the bookstore where I am currently selling them. If you are a friend of mine on Facebook, I sent out a link earlier this week but please don't hesitate to e-mail me about it if interested
and since started working for TSA, I have come up with four children's Stories that I am currently in the works of developing.
And sadly, my beautiful truck passed away on me a month ago.....She will be missed, that truck saved my neck more time's than i can count and their is no way I can thank her. But for me to get to work, I went out and actually bought myself a NEW CAR!! it's one of those New Scion XD's, its sleek, great on gas and runs really nice, so for now, that's gonna help out a great deal.
That's all for me at the moment, I was planning on going to the Emerald City Comicon and set up a booth this year, but sadly, because of a bunch of different things happening all at once, I wont be able to, but seeing how it would have been my first con, i think I should experience one first as a participant as opposed to an artist, so hopefully my friend alfred and I can go to the San Diego Comicon this year, I really want to experience one since this is what i want to get into, so we'll see, As always thanks for tuning it, and I'm going to have some new work up here in the next few days finally,so keep watching!!

The Beast...
So back at the beginning of June I received a mass post from an artist known as Trialsze on Devia
ntart. He was in the process of putting together an art book of pieces done by multiple artists of his character's from the comic "Outlaw Angel" released through Ape Comics. He was doing this book to help of set the medical bills for his dad, and I thought this was a pretty cool idea. I just got finished with the mural a couple weeks ago (pictures will be up on the final piece as soon as i can get them on the computer, my camera crapped out.) and have been finishing other commissions before i head down to homer, but In my off time i managed to do create a pretty awesome piece if i do say so myself. I character I decided to work with was The Beast* Dun Dun Duuuuuun* haha, anyway, in the story he is the holder of the keys to the gates of hell. I wanted to include more characters and do something big and awesome, but this one character just stood out to me. Im hoping it makes it into the book, because that would be great publicity for me and my work. but if not, i got to create this awesome character.
If you want to check out more of his work and these awesome character's, go to http://trialsze.deviantart.com and see what im talking about. enjoy the work!

Granny's Got a Gun!

This is a piece i did the other night, just came up with the idea and thought I'd have a little fun. I was laughing the whole time i was drawing this just because it was so ridiculous, but at the same time it's so awesome, because this is probably what the punisher's grandma would look like. I think im going to leave it as a pencil, that way i have more for my portfolio, but I might try and get it colored. who knows. enjoy!

something new!
so this last week I've been practicing on what are called Artist's Trading Cards(ATC's). They are 2.5 by 3.5 inches and are made of pretty much anything. Watercolor paper, bristol board, illustration board, any drawable material. Anyway, i thought it would be fun to do few images and give them a shot, and so i have here is a collection of the piece i have produced this week. I plan on doing a lot more in the future, and i'll be putting up a full price list for works here in the next week. hope ya'll enjoy and let me know what you think!

Dagger Practice
This is just a practice drawing from last night, I was playing with color and wanted to draw a woman. It started off as the Invisible woman but then changed to dagger, haha, I hate it but I love it when something like that happens because sometimes you get a better idea than you had in the first place
micron pen and prismacolor marker

I did a second version as well with the background tweaked in Photoshop, I tried doing something with the color of the energy and the blades around her hand, but im still a rookie in the program, so if anyone knows how to help me, please do, I would greatly appreciate it.
